The Troff family

We are Göko and Anka Troff! At the Tjaddehof in Oldendorp we live and work together with our children Hermann, Heiko and Göko.

About Us ...

The Troff family has been breeding dressage and show jumping horses for many decades. In addition to the eleven broodmares, their foals and offspring, the Tjaddehof is also home to around 180 dairy cows.

Göko Troff came to horse breeding through his father Hermann. He bought the filly Ladys First, his later foundation mare, at the auction in Vechta in 1985. Even at primary school age, Göko was able to give his father tips on mating, and at the age of ten he started riding and taking part in tournaments - even with the horses he had bred and broken in himself.

The Tjaddehof

The farm was constantly modernized from year to year. When the offspring are not enjoying the fresh sea air in the pastures, they are housed in large stables. There are various training options for the young riding horses on a riding arena, a riding hall and a lungeing circle.

The sons Hermann, Heiko and Göko provide active support, although Heiko would like to take over the business one day.

Breeding history

Hermann Troff bought the filly Ladys First, a daughter of Pik Bube out of Freiherr's later foundation mare Love Story I, at the auction in Vechta in 1985. In addition to state premium and elite mares, she also produced the licensed La Piko S by Landfriese, who was successful internationally up to S level jumping.

Lady's first daughter Lady Die (by Sion) was the dam of the S-successful Lasko and the licensed Levantino (by Levanatos I), daughter Lady's Rubin (by Rubinstein I) was herself at the Brillantring at the elite mare show in Rastede and brought the licensed Dream Catcher (by Day Dream) and the Rubin Noir (by Rubin-Royal), who is successful in the advanced class. The De Niro daughter Lady Diva is also the mother of a licensed son, Sir Diamond by Sandro Hit. This line is currently continued by Lady Best (by Bretton Woods) and her daughter Lady First (by Fürst Toto).

With the Diarado daughter Alexis, born in 2010, the Troff family also has a jumping mare in breeding. Since 2016 she has produced a foal every year, including M-successful full brothers Cadorado and Cadiratus (both by Cador).
